Allegory as a form of indirectness in the novels of John Coetzee

The article substantiates the relevance of studying the work of J. Coetzee from the standpoint of the presence in it of a genre modification of the philosophical and allegorical novel. The article reveals the peculiarities of functioning in the narrative of the work of allegory as an artistic and aesthetic means of the text and a constructive factor in the organization of the prosaic whole.В статье обосновывается актуальность изучения творчества Дж.
