Esta investigación promueve la implementación del análisis del discurso a partir de un estudio de caso de un estudiante taiwanés del español como lengua extranjera. Por otra parte, este estudio señala la necesidad de incluir más actividades pedagógicas que promuevan el uso del análisis del discurso, específicamente en el área de la dinámica conversacional en el aula de idiomas. Los estudiantes de idiomas extranjeros deben ser capacitados para analizar su propio discurso de manera que puedan comunicarse competentemente en diversas interacciones. Los profesores de idiomas extranjeros pueden beneficiarse de discursos orales, por medio de diálogos como una estrategia en la clase.
