GAF-MTN gen havuzunda yer alan kısa gün soğan hatlarının tuz, kuraklık, tuz ve kuraklık streslerine karşı fizyolojik tepkilerinin belirlenmesi

Onion is a plant sensitive to abiotic stress factors such as salinity and drought especially during bulbing phase. Therefore, the physiological responses of the lines were investigated by applying salt, drought, salt and drought stresses to ten short-day onion lines in GAF-MTN gene pool to do the thesis experiment. As a result, it was determined that the lines were mostly affected by drought stress in terms of leaf length, diameter and temperature, and when the chlorophyll index values were analyzed, all lines were mostly affected by salt and drought combined stress. In addition, there was an increase in photosynthesis rate from the initiation to the end of the stress. However, despite this increase, the photosynthesis rate was still lower in lines treated with drought, and salt and drought stresses than the control. According to the results, the line most affected by the salt treatment was K18, while the K28 was the least affected. While K20 was maximally affected by salt and drought combined stress, K25 was only slightly affected. While commercial type K51 was mostly affected by drought in terms of green parts and leaf temperature, while K52 was affected by drought in terms of leaf elongation, expanding and temperature. Bu nedenle tez kapsamında, tuz, kurak, tuz ve kurak stresleri GAF-MTN gen havuzunda yer alan on adet kısa gün soğan hattına uygulanarak, hatların fizyolojik tepkileri incelenmiştir. Bunun sonucunda, hatların yaprak boyu, eni ve yaprak sıcaklığı bakımından en çok kuraklık stresinden etkilendiği, klorofil indeksi değerlerine bakıldığında ise ortalama olarak tüm hatların en çok tuz ve kuraklık stresinden etkilendiği belirlenmiştir. Fotosentez hızında ise tüm hatlarda stres başlangıcından sonuna kadar bir artış yaşanmıştır. Ancak buna rağmen kurak ve tuz ve kurak uygulamalarının sonunda fotosentez hızının yine de kontrolden daha az olduğu gözlemlenmiştir. Sonuçlara göre K18 tuz stresinden etkilenirken, K28 en az etkilenmiştir. K20 hattının tuz ve kuraklık stresinden maksimum etkilendiği görülürken, K25 az etkilenmiştir. K51 ticari çeşidi yeşil aksam ve yaprak sıcaklığı bakımından, K52 çeşidi ise yaprak uzaması, en artışı ve yaprak sıcaklığı açısından kuraklıktan etkilenmiştir
