Carbon dioxide snow is a useful technique that can remove particles and organic contaminants off surfaces. Utilizing the noninvasive chemical and physical cleaning properties of carbon dioxide snow, sample carriers are analyzed before and after the cleaning process to assess the method parameters. By developing an optimal and efficient cleaning method, surface contamination of sample carriers can be eliminated or reduced to improve the accuracy of chemical analysis
