One of the main uncertainties facing the incorporation of non-conventional renewable energies is the identification of both positive and negative impacts these can have on an electrical power system. Furthermore, dynamics of electrical power systems can be very different according to the elements that compose it, the impacts in the electric system can vary one from another which makes it necessary to analyze each case individually without a generalized conclusion. In this work, some methodologies of small signal stability analysis, such as modal analysis and modal identification, have been considered in two studied cases at DIgSILENT Power Factory.
