Resumen: En este trabajo se presenta un Control Predictivo (MPC) para un reactor por lotes de policondensación para la producción de Polietilentereftalato (PET). Se utilizó como modelo de predicción un modelo no lineal híbrido del proceso. El objetivo de control del MPC es seguir la trayectoria óptima de referencia. Esta trayectoria óptima se obtuvo maximizando la conversión en el reactor al final del lote.
