Se presentan resultados paleomagnéticos para análisis de campo geomagnético promediado en el tiempo (TAF) y variaciones paleoseculares de doce sitios muestreados entre lavas y flujos piroclásticos, del volcán Cerro Bravo y el cerro Gallinazo. De acuerdo a estudios radiométricos previos las edades están entre 200a y 1.8Ma. 96 núcleos en total, se sometieron a desmagnetización por campo alterno (AF). Se realizó análisis de componente principal y cálculo de la dirección media por sitio. Ocho de los sitios pasaron todos los criterios de selección aplicados, según estos criterios seis sitios tienen polaridad normal y tres son transicionales.
