Characterization and measurement of the ecological footprint as a pedagogical strategy that generates positive attitudes for caring for the environment A classroom project was designed as a pedagogical strategy generating positive attitudes towards caring for the environment, in 3rd grade students of the Guadalupe educational institution, Agripina Montes del Valle headquarters, located in the Manrique neighborhood of the city of Medellin. For the collection of the information, KPSI questionnaires, surveys, observation guides, interviews and workshops are carried out to characterize the concept of ecological footprint in the educational community and elements that strengthen the design, application and evaluation of the didactic strategy. The proposal was made with a population of 29 students who correspond to grade 3, the constant sample of a group of 29 students in grade 3 with which the project will be implemented, the strategy of strengthening attitudes in students such as identification of environmental problems in their environment, preparation of questions, collection and analysis of information, writing of reports and communication of the results of the processes developed for the concept of ecological footprint and care for the environment in the institution.Se diseñó una estrategia pedagógica para generar de actitudes positivas hacia el cuidado del medio ambiente, en estudiantes del grado 3° de la institución educativa Guadalupe, sede Agripina Montes del Valle, ubicada en el barrio Manrique de la ciudad de Medellín. Para la recolección de la información se realizan cuestionarios KPSI, encuestas, guías de observación, entrevistas y talleres que permitieron caracterizar el concepto de huella ecológica en la comunidad educativa y elementos que permitieron fortalecer el diseño, aplicación y evaluación de la estrategia didáctica. La estrategia se realizó con una población de 29 estudiantes que corresponden al grado 3°, la implementación de esta estrategia nos permitió fortalecer las actitudes en las estudiantes como la identificación de problemáticas ambientales de su entorno, elaboración de preguntas, la recolección y análisis de información, redacción de informes y la comunicación de los resultados de los procesos desarrollados con el concepto de huella ecológica y el cuidado del medio ambiente en la institución.Maestrí
