The Amazonian urban novel and the changes in the representation of the Spaces and subjects of the Amazon

This research work is framed in the field of literary history. Therefore, inquire about the origin of the urban novel in the Amazon and how its appearance in the Amazonian literary field modifies, continues or reworked the representations of the spaces and Amazonian subjects present in novels that preceded it. To this end, a collection of works was carried out as widely as possible to determine the said origin and to know who the authors are, their origin, their interests and the place of publication of the works. Derived from the compilation, periodization of the novel about the Amazon was established showing trends and themes by periods, to finally locate the emergence of the Amazon urban novel. The common idea about the marginality of urban Amazon literature is diluted by showing the literary groups created in the region and their intentions to take the representation of the Amazon on their own.Este trabajo de investigación se enmarca en el campo de la historia literaria. Explorando el origen de la novela urbana en la Amazonía y cómo su aparición en el campo literario amazónico, modifica, continua o reelabora las representaciones de los espacios y los sujetos amazónicos presentes en novelas que le precedieron. Para tal fin se realizó una recopilación de obras lo más amplia posible para determinar dicho origen y para conocer quiénes son los autores, su procedencia, sus intereses y el lugar de publicación de las obras. Como resultado de dicha recopilación, se estableció una periodización de la novela sobre la Amazonía mostrando tendencias y temas por periodos, para finalmente ubicar el surgimiento de la novela urbana amazónica y sus principales características. La idea común sobre la marginalidad de la literatura amazónica urbana se diluye al mostrar los grupos literarios creados en la región y sus intenciones de tomar la representación de la Amazonía por su cuenta.Maestrí
