National audienceArchaeological works carried out in several sectors of the Évreux cemetery (Eure) has enabled the study of funerary practices during the Roman period. Cremation was dominant during the first centuries AD and the ossuaries were pottery, glass or made from perishable materials. Inhumations in nailed coffins were typical.
