ABSTRACTBackground: In the treatment of serious corrosive esophageal strictures, esophageal dilatation may be inadequate. The purpose of this study was to evaluate the effectiveness of intralesional steroid injection as an adjunct to dilatation therapy. Methods: This is a clinical trial study, which was conducted on 42 patients with corrosive esophageal stricture. The patients were admitted to pediatric endoscopic department at Zagazig University Hospitals. They were randomly divided into 2 groups.
