3 pags. 1 fig.The derivation of the microhardness of amorphous polymer blends of poly(methyl methacrylate) (PMMA) and poly(vinilydene fluoride) (PVDF) from the glass transition temperature values was investigated. Taking into account the densification effect, better agreement between the calculated and experimental values was observed. The obtained results concluded that regarding the relationship between glass transition temperature and microhardness the amorphous blends of miscible partners can be treated the same way as homo- and copolymers
