Diese Arbeit beschäftigte sich mit der Testung der zytotoxischen Eigenschaften von zehn Eisen(III)-Salophenderivaten auf die malignen Zelllinien MDA-MB-MB-231, A2780, A2780-Cis, HTB-77, HL-60 und Colo 699. Zur Bestimmung der Spezifität der Wirkstoffe wurden zusätzlich die Zelllinien HS-5 und SV-80 mitgetestet. Mit verschiedenen Untersuchungsmethoden soll geklärt werden, welche Zelltodmechanismen durch die Eisen(III)-Salophenkomplexe induziert werden. Von besonderem Interesse ist hierbei der Nachweis des 2012 entdeckten Ferroptosemechanismus
