This study aimed at assessing factors influencing performance in the police force in Mtwara region. Newalla district was selected as a case study. Three specific objectives were developed to accomplish this study; to identify factors affecting performance in an organization; to assess the impacts of TPF performance in a community; and to examine the relationship between motivation and organization performance. Cross-sectional design was used as the study design. Survey was conducted using questionnaire to collect data from 108 respondents.
