The aim of this research is the synthesis of hydroxyapatite powders (Ca10(PO4)6(OH)2) by the precipitation method with the following synthesis conditions: the ratio of Ca/P = 1, the range of the pH value = 7). Another main target of this work is a partial substitution of the calcium element in the hydroxyapatite structure with selected doping elements (magnesium, zinc, aluminium, strontium) and subsequently assessed the effect of these replacements on the structure and physicochemical properties of hydroxyapatite.
