In the process of mounting the warp thread on the dobby machine, the weight in the arm plays a role in controlling the movement of the warp beam. The calculation using standard deviation is the main reference in taking note of the uniformity of tension in the warp beam. Some of the main factors being highlighted are the angle on weight, weight position and tension in the yarn. As conclusion, the device was developed to give suitable tension for yarn to help the weaver to produce high quality outcome and improve the fabric structure. The device also managed to solve the problem of loosening warp yarn when the machine being operated with the fix range
