Pengaruh struktur modal dan ukuran perusahaan terhadap kinerja perusahaan dengan agency cost sebagai variable intervening

ABSTRACTThe purpose of this research are to eximine the effect of capital structure, firm size on agency cost; influence of capital structure, firm size on company performance with agency cost as an intervening variable. The type of research used is explanatory research.While the sampling in this study uses purposive sampling method. The companies that are the object of research are LQ45 companies listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange in 2012-2016. From the 45 companies studied, there were 31 companies that met the sample criteria in the study. The statistical method used is path analysis that is Path Analysis which is assisted by using SmartPls 3. The test results show that there is a significant positive effect on the capital structure of the agency cost and the influence is not significant between the size of the company and agency cost, and the effect of agency cost on the company's performance is not significant. And there is no influence between capital structure and firm size on company performance with agency cost as an intervening variableKey words: Capital Sturcture, agency cost, firm performance, agency cost and path analysis
