Many people within developing countries die every year from water-related illnesses. Within developing countries, water quality is poor, mainly as a result of loosely regulated human practices. The objective of this paper is to research and analyze the topic of water quality on water-related diseases in third-world countries. Through running t-tests, we searched for differences between pathogens in different water sources. We found that household storages have greater numbers of pathogens than communal wells and there is no statistically significant difference between the amount of E. coli O157:H7 and Campylobacter.
