Problem: Registered Nurses are experiencing burnout at a high rate of about 70%. This is leading to nurses leaving the profession, poor patient outcomes, and emotional exhaustion in the workplace (Kurosaka, 2020). Purpose: The purpose of this project was to determine the effect of mindfulness technique education on nurses\u27 knowledge and ability to reduce burnout. Methods: The project will combine a descriptive design with a single participant group using a pre-and post-survey method over a three-week period.
