Vibration responses of beams subjected to moving loads is of great practical importance as these responses can cause significant damage to structures especially at resonance. The ultimate aim of this project is to use SolidWorks simulations and theoretical calculations to analyze uniform, partially distributed loads, point loads and double point loads moving on simply-supported beams. Sequential static loading is used to approximate such beam deflections. Deflection and stress amplification due to dynamic loading is compared to the sequential static results.
