The aim of the work: to evaluate the effectiveness of treatment in patients with spontaneous and acquired PLF with chronic suppurative otitis media and cholesteatoma by studying the clinical and audiological results after microsurgical treatment with optimal combined visualization of affected area. Materials and Methods. 33 patients with different PLF etiology aged 20 to 62 were observed in ear microsurgery and otoneurosurgery department. Patients were divided into two groups of studies depending on the PLF etiology.
