This paper presents a reflection on the teaching and learning process of quatitative methodology. Based on the analysis of students’ contributions in the blog Qualitas, which is a virtual communicative tool applied of a compulsory subject in two masters. The content analysis shows the need for a teaching framework, where teaching and learning are similar, in essence, to the development of qualitative research. Academic learning contains a great positivist base that hinders the later reflexive practical learning, it is necessary the openness and flexibility within the formal scope through constructivism.
