NURSING CARES TO BURNING CLIENT – A SYSTEMATIC REVIEW

Objective: the target of this study was to identify through review the literature, the main nursing cares recommended to the burning client found in the scientific production in the period of 1998 to 2008 and analyzing the implication of this care in the practice of the care to the burned client. Methods: the study was developed through the bibliographic research in the data base of Lilacs, Scielo and Bdenf, eight articles in total. It as elaborated a matrix and then a thematic analyzes from the recommendation found in the article. Results: the following themes came from this analyze: permanent education, biomedical care/clinic condition, technology /resources of treatment and technical care / procedures. Conclusion: the person that was a burning victim presents not only the physical deformity, but also the emotional integrity compromised. That’s why it is very important that the nursing professional try to fulfill the basic needs of this client. So, the burse will contribute to a better rehabilitation of the burned client, giving assistance in a complete way, in all levels of attention. Descriptors: Burns, Burn Units, Nursing Care.Objetivo: O objetivo deste estudo foi identificar mediante revisão da literatura, os principais cuidados de Enfermagem recomendados ao cliente queimado encontrados na produção científica no período de 1998 a 2008 e analisar as implicações desses cuidados na prática do cuidar de Enfermagem ao cliente queimado. Métodos: O estudo foi desenvolvido através do levantamento bibliográfico nas bases de dados Lilacs, Scielo e Bdenf, totalizando oito artigos. Foi elaborada uma matriz e em seguida foi realizada uma análise temática a partir das recomendações encontradas no artigo. Resultados: A partir da análise surgiram os seguintes temas: educação permanente, cuidado biomédico/condição clínica, tecnologia/recursos de tratamento e cuidado técnico/procedimentos. Conclusão: A pessoa que foi vítima de queimadura apresenta além da deformidade física, a integridade emocional abalada. Por isso é de grande importância que o profissional de Enfermagem busque suprir as necessidades básicas desse cliente. Assim, o enfermeiro estará contribuindo para uma melhor reabilitação do cliente queimado, realizando a assistência de forma integrada, em todos os níveis de atenção.
