Bird species richness in fragmented forest, oil palm plantation and the edge between fragmented forest and oil palm plantation were analyzed for Bukit Durang from August 2014 until April 2015. Nine line transects were set up in fragmented forest and oil palm plantation. Total of 21 mist nets (3 m x 12 m x 36 mm mesh) were used with total 540 nets days in nine transects and each sampling distributed between oil palm, forest and edge. Total 159 individuals successful mist-netted with 10 recaptured individuals with 39 species belong to 18 families.
