Comprendre des signes qui rendent compte de la numérosité

International audienceThe aim of this paper is twofold: (1) to share didactic knowledge on the teaching of numerosity (especially in kindergarten) with teachers trainers and to awaken their "semiotic" vigilance on mathematical signs; (2) to use an interesting training modality, in that it favours exchanges and questions on professional knowledge, it allows to put accross some pedagogical tricks of classroom management, and confronts participants with the uncertainties and emotions of a subject in learning. The situation, of the homology-transposition type, was constructed for the training of specialised teachers for students with special needs. The didactic and semiotic analysis of the tasks allows to review mathematical and semiotic learning difficulties related to the construction of the number and to bring out knowledge for the teacher.L'objectif de cette communication est double : d’un côté partager avec des formateurs des connaissances didactiques sur l’enseignement de la numération (notamment en maternelle) et éveiller leur vigilance sémiotique sur les signes mathématiques ; de l’autre utiliser une modalité de formation, intéressante en formation d’enseignants, car favorisant les échanges et les questions sur des connaissances professionnelles, permettant de faire passer certaines astuces pédagogiques de gestion de classe, et confrontant les participants aux incertitudes et aux émotions d’un sujet en apprentissage. La situation, de type homologie-transposition, a été construite à l’occasion de la formation d’enseignants spécialisés. La réalisation et l’analyse des tâches proposées avec des outils d’analyse didactiques et sémiotiques permettent de revenir sur des difficultés d’apprentissage mathématiques et sémiotiques relatives à la construction du nombre et de faire émerger des connaissances pour l’enseignant
