The purpose of this thesis is to improve understanding of the technical part of Big Data analytics (BDA) and its use in marketing context. Specifically, to examine technical aspect of BDA, its role, benefits and challenges it presents for modern marketing from a business’s perspective. Objectives is this thesis were fulfilled by conducting a literature analysis using a Systematic Literature Review (SLR) approach published by Kitchenham a Charter in 2007.
