How to become financially independent in retirement?

The goal of the bachelor thesis was to design strategies for securing people in retirement using savings and investments. The thesis explains financial independence, describes the current state of the pension system, it contains possible changes in the system and its future. The thesis focused on creating strategies for people in different stages of life. The main target was on people around the age of 50 when various savings strategies were created for saving 500 CZK, 1 000CZK, 2 000 CZK, 3 000 CZK and 5 000 CZK per month using pension savings, building savings, mutual funds and term deposits. The work summarizes the possibilities of saving for people who have less than 5 years left until retirement age and for people who started their first job. For further research, it is recommended to focus on detailed strategies for people after graduation or for individuals who have a certain age left before retirement.Cílem bakalářské práce bylo navrhnout strategie pro zajištění osob na stáří pomocí spoření a investování. Je zde vysvětlena finanční nezávislost a popsán současný stav důchodového systému, přičemž byly nastíněny možné změny systému a jeho budoucnost. Práce představila strategie spoření pro osoby v různých životních fázích. Zaměřena byla především na osoby kolem 50 let věku, kdy byly vytvořeny různé strategie při spoření 500 Kč, 1 000 Kč, 2 000 Kč, 3 000 Kč a 5 000 Kč měsíčně za využití penzijního spoření, stavebního spoření, podílových akciových fondů a termínovaných vkladů. Práce shrnuje možnosti spoření pro osoby, kterým zbývá méně než 5 let do důchodového věku, a pro osoby, které nastoupily do prvního zaměstnání. Pro další výzkumy je doporučeno se zaměřit na detailní strategie zajištění na stáří pro osoby po ukončení vzdělání nebo pro jedince, kterým zbývá určitý věk do důchodu
