The presence of dispersive fading and inter-carrier interference (ICI) constitute the major impediment to reliable communications in orthogonal frequency-division multiplexing (OFDM) systems. Recently iterative (``Turbo'') processing techniques, which have been successfully applied to many detection/decoding problems, have received considerable attention.
