PENDEKATAN RELIGIUS TERHADAP KLIEN EKS PSIKOTIK (STUDI DI UPT REHABLITASI SOSIAL BINA LARAS PASURUAN)

Indonesia is a country with the highest number of mental disorders in Southeast Asia. Unfortunately, this condition is not well accepted by the Indonesian people. This is evidenced by the existence of discrimination from family and society to people with these problems. Therefore, it is necessary to have other efforts that specifically pay attention to such problems. Social rehabilitation is one solution to this problem. Based on data from the East Java Provincial Government through the Social Service, which states that the UPT Social Rehabilitation of Bina Laras Pasuruan is one of the places for social services and rehabilitation for people with mental problems with a spiritual approach. Thus, the research problems formulated are regarding: 1) Psychological problems of the UPT Social Rehabilitation of Bina Laras Pasuruan ex-psychotic clients, 2) The religious approach of the UPT Social Rehabilitation of Bina Laras Pasuruan ex-psychotic clients. This research uses descriptive research with a qualitative approach and data collection techniques for observation, interviews and documentation as well as Miles, Huberman and Saldana's analysis techniques which include reduction, data presentation and drawing conclusions or verification. The results of research and discussion show that the psychological problems of ex-psychotic clients at UPT Social Rehabilitation of Bina Laras Pasuruan are hallucinations, withdrawal, perpetrators of violence, low self-esteem and understanding. These problems are due to biological, psychological, social and spiritual factors. Meanwhile, mental-spiritual guidance at this UPT relate with concept is a form of religious approach which is very important to do because it will equip clients with religious matters to be brought back to the midst of society. Therefore this religious approach targets all aspects of life for mental, social and spiritual healing. At the UPT RSBL Pasuruan a religious approach is carried out in the form of prayer, istigosah, prayer and istigfar activities. Where these aspects are aspects of transcendental spiritual concepts such as prayer, universality and connectedness which includes God, Realm and Human
