These structures combine the advantages of steel constructions with the advantages of the concrete. The typical slab construction for those buildings insists in a concrete slab, which is carried by a steel beam. Both elements together result in the composite beam. The composite beam is connected to the column with the composite connection. The presented analysing model is valid for fixed, pinned and even for semi-rigid composite connections. It is related to the model by the study group COST C1. The Model helps to determine computational values for the stiffness, the load-carrying capacities and the rotation ability of composite joints.
