Structural integrity of offshore platforms is affected by degradation issue such as subsidence. The wave-in-deck load can cause significant damage to deck structures that may result in the collapse of an entire platform. A parametric study on base shear and reserve strength ratio have been performed to investigate the impact of wave-in-deck load on structure response of a fixed offshore platform located at Malaysian water. The conventional run of pushover analysis only considers a 100-year design crest height for the ultimate collapse.
