Abstract of the presentation given at Solstice 2016: At University of the Arts London (UAL) a variety of online platforms are used by students and academics for teaching and learning. University developed and supported platforms include: Moodle; teaching and learning blogs (myblog.arts); and a customised instance of the ePortfolio platform Mahara which we call 'Workflow' and which is heavily used at UAL. A variety of external platforms and bespoke solutions are also used. This year we have started to record interviews with academics to explore why and how they are using particular online learning spaces within their courses.
