Performance Analysis Through Intrinsic and Extrinsic Motivation with Work Satisfaction as Intervening Variables in Retail Company Employees in Surabaya (Case Study on Employees of PT. Lotte Mart Marvel Surabaya)

The purpose of the study was to analyze the influence of intrinsic motivation on performance, the influence of extrinsic motivation on performance, the effect of satisfaction on performance, the influence of intrinsic motivation on performance through satisfaction and the influence of extrinsic motivation on performance through employee satisfaction of PT. Lotte Mart Marvel Surabaya. The population in this study were 55 employees. The sample technique used is non probability sampling or saturated sample. A sample of 55 employees. The results of statistical analysis explain that intrinsic motivation influences performance, indicated by the original sample value of = 0.465, T-Statistics 5.553> 1.96 and P Value 0.000 <0.05, extrinsic motivation influences performance, explained by the original sample value of 0.333 , T-Statistics 3.220> 1.96 and P Value 0.001
