The article presents a research of the causes of hospitalization of patients with a clinical diagnosis – Chronic Obstructive Lung Disease (COPD). The research was based on the City Clinical Hospital №14. The statistical processing of primary medical records for 2018 was carried out. Clinical and demographic data, social status and risk factors in the anamnesis of patients were researched. According to the research, the main factors that led to hospitalization were identified. Older men and women of the elderly age group are hospitalized more often;one of the factors contributing to hospitalization is the high comorbidity of patients with COPD with diseases of the cardiovascular system: hypertonic disease, chronic corpulmonale, congestive he...
