O ensino de História: as relações de gênero e poder na família brasileira por meio das imagens dos livros didáticos

The present work deals with History Teaching from the perspective of gender relations. It has been prepared based on five workshops held in 2018 with students from the freshman year “E”, High School, from the Graça Aranha Teaching Center, a school located in Imperatriz - MA. Its main goal is to analyze how students perceive the power relations that were established in the history of Brazilian family, based on the gender of individuals and the multiple factors that contributed to the transformation of this social institution. For the construction of the data, text productions and oral exhibitions collected in the workshops were used. Therefore, the paper discusses how the subjects mobilize historical awareness about the proposed questions. As a result, it suggests a didactic-pedagogical methodology that proposes the execution of workshops in which the images contained in textbooks, especially historical representations of families, are the subject of gender issues discussions in the classroom. Such proposal, for having shown satisfactory results with the class, can be used by teachers and professors of History in other institutions.O presente trabalho trata do Ensino de História na perspectiva das relações de gênero. Foi elaborado com base em cinco oficinas realizadas no ano de 2018 com estudantes do 1º ano “E”, Ensino Médio, do Centro de Ensino Graça Aranha, escola localizada na cidade de Imperatriz – MA. Tem como objetivo principal analisar como os estudantes percebem as relações de poder que se estabeleceram na história da família brasileira, a partir do gênero dos indivíduos e os múltiplos fatores que contribuíram para a transformação dessa instituição social. Para construção dos dados foram utilizadas as produções textuais e exposições orais coletadas nas oficinas. Portanto, o trabalho discute o modo como os sujeitos mobilizam a consciência histórica acerca das questões propostas. Como produto, sugere uma metodologia didático-pedagógica que propõe a realização de oficinas em que as imagens contidas nos livros didáticos, especialmente representações históricas das famílias, sejam objeto de discussão das questões de gênero, em sala de aula. Tal proposta, por ter mostrado resultados satisfatórios com a turma de participantes, pode ser utilizada por professores e professoras de História em outras instituições
