SoCo Artists present new experimental work based on the 1920's Glasshouse in Alexandra Park. Kathleen Mullaniff, Senior Lecturer BA Fine Art, is showing her painting ‘Blue Plate’ which is inspired by the floral pattern of a piece of Chantilly Lace. Kathleen writes, 'Lace is a group of paintings derived from the structure and pattern of three samples of Chantilly Lace. The samples form part of a gift given to me by a family member, the box of textile samples dates from a collection from 1922.
