The performance of geomagnetic aided navigation is closely related to the selection of geomagnetic matching area. This paper mainly studies the selection method of multi-parameter geomagnetic matching area based on the projection pursuit model, and then adopts the firefly algorithm, particle swarm optimization algorithm and differential evolution algorithm to obtain the optimal projection direction. After that, we compare the optimizing results comprehensively and give the evaluation of navigation performance in geomagnetic matching area to provide the basis for the selection of matching area.
