This image of two maps 1) "Plan of Baltimore Town in 1729 containing 60 Acres Divided into 60 Lots" and 2) "Taken from Mr. Moale's View of Baltimore in 1752" appear to be a cutout portion of the lower margin from an original copy of the Thomas H. Poppleton map titled "This Plan of the City of Baltimore: as Enlarged & Laid out by T.H. Poppleton Under the Direction of the Commissioners Appointed by the General Assembly of Maryland in Feby. 1818 & Corrected to May 1852". This image was produced from an original copy of the maps held as part of the Baetjer Collection. In the spring of 2017 the Venable LLP law firm generously donated to the Sheridan Libraries most of the maps, views and prints in the Baetjer Collection.2 maps on sheet 13 x 59 cm., Scale not given
