Working with substance use: safeguarding

You will hear from a number of expert contributors throughout this resource. Primarily, these are practitioners working with individuals or families affected by problematic substance use and also, at the end of the resource, from a mum who talks candidly about her own experiences of substance use, the safeguarding issues it raised for her and her children, and the professionals and service provision which she encountered along the way.\ud \ud The learning outcomes below are based on the completion of this resource including self-directed learning where indicated.
