Data Protection Training for College Staff

Jisc Legal has produced an online training course for Further Education college staff in the essentials of data protection law. \ud \ud "Data Protection Training for College Staff" deals with collecting, sharing and using personal data fairly as well as the obligation to keeping personal data secure in all environments including on computer systems. \ud \ud This practical learning resource relates directly to the work of FE college staff. It focuses on the core responsibilities of individual staff when handling personal data and highlights their responsibilities and obligations to treat individual’s personal data fairly and lawfully in the workplace.\ud \ud The training module can either be taken in house by a college and used within their own VLE or it can stand alone. It takes less than an hour to complete and consists of audio segments, animations and some text guidance
