Film as a research tool: Sian Lueng

This resource is concerned with the ways in which ideas develop in creative practice. It has been created in the belief that the study of art is not solely about the making of ‘things’ but understanding the ways in which those inanimate forms can shape the experience and understanding of others. It is hoped that through the discussion these films provoke, we may begin to find account of the mechanisms of creative thought both on behalf of the artist and the viewer. In this video Sian Lueng explores the ways in which ideas develop in creative practic
