Images for the web

This interactive learning object uses text, images and multimedia to examine the different kinds of images commonly used on the web and is aimed at students learning how to create websites. The types of images explained here are bitmap, vector, GIF, Jpeg and Png images. Information on using images is also provided, as is a number of tools designed to enhance the user experience of the resource.
