During this lesson, we will look at the vital role language plays in prejudice, discrimination and potential harm. We will also identify how to use language that is inclusive and challenges discrimination and show how your own behaviour impacts on learners, including the organisational culture. Following on from this, we will identify a range of agencies that can assist in the promotion of equality and diversity. Finally, we will review how to work with these agencies to resolve difficulties, gain further understanding of how to promote equality and value diversity and to enable individuals to receive additional support
