Promoting Equality and Valuing Diversity

The learning objectives for this lesson include, firstly, a discussion on the need for your organisation to provide integrative approaches to promoting equality and valuing diversity. Secondly, we will identify a variety of practical ways that you can promote a culture of equality and diversity throughout the learners’ experience from initial recruitment onto the learning programme and also discuss how the promotion of equality and diversity can protect people from risk of harm. Finally, we will review how to self-assess your current classroom practice against good equality and diversity practice indicators and consider areas for improvement
