Preparation and characterisation of chemically modified, improved biosorbent, xanthated Lagenaria vulgaris shell (xLVB), and its application for Cu(II) ions removal from aqueous solutions, were investigated in the present study. The chemically modified material was characterised by using FTIR, SEM and EDX analysis.
