Determinan Disparitas Distribusi Pendapatan Penduduk di Pulau Jawa Tahun 2012-2018

High economic growth is the hope of every region in Indonesia, especially in Java. However, the existence of uneven education, unemployment rate, and HDI can cause an imbalance in the income of the population in an area, especially in Java. The main objective of this research is to determine the direct or indirect effect of the Dependency Ratio, Education Level, Unemployment Rate, and Human Development Index. The data used by the author in this study is secondary data with panel data from 2012 to 2018 obtained from the Central Statistics Agency. The quantitative analysis model used is panel data regression analysis. Income inequality is measured using the Gini Index. The results show the income inequality of the population. From the results of the Existence Test of the model together, the Dependency Ratio, Education Level, Unemployment Rate, and Human Development Index variables have a significant effect on Population Income Inequality in Java in 2012-2018. The result of the coefficient of determination shows that the R-Square value is 0.746472 or 74%. This means that the variation of Population Income Inequality in Java in 2012-2018 74% is explained by the Dependency Ratio, Education Level, Unemployment Rate, and HDI variables and 26% is explained by other variables outside the model.
