This research explores parenting, during the very first school years, in terms of child education, family functioning, and parents’ subjective experience.Data was collected on parents who mostly belonged to higher socio-professional categories, and whose children, aged 3 to 6, attended a state-run school in a Paris neighborhood that is part of the national high-priority educational network.
