Youth and Political Culture: an Approach to the Political Culture of the University Students of Bogotá

However, his interest in politics remains_x000D_ a myth of academic and social controversy from low voter turnout rates. Through_x000D_ this mixed exploratory study, we sought to identify the predominant political_x000D_ culture patterns of young university students in the city of Bogota in the current_x000D_ context. The findings show a dichotomy between the political identification and the_x000D_ identification of the youth condition and shows a high level of distrust in the_x000D_ institutions that is reflected in the forms of participation in politics and the values_x000D_ that underpin its political identityLos jóvenes universitarios han sido protagonistas de las movilizaciones sociales_x000D_ más importantes de los últimos años en Colombia. Sin embargo, su interés por la_x000D_ política aún sigue siendo un motivo de controversia académica y social, a partir de_x000D_ los bajos índices de participación electoral.
