The Work-Based Learning subject area at Birkbeck has developed a range of modules and programmes which use reflection on experiential learning in the workplace as an integral part of the academic programme. In some modules demonstration of reflection on learning is part of the assessment (usually taking the form of a learning review), in others a reflective commentary is the single assessment for the module.
