ABSTRAK. VT Cosmetics hadir dengan iklan barunya yang menggunakan brandambassador bintang K-Pop BTS, iklan tersebut merepresentasikan maskulinitas sebagaiatribut dari budaya populer. Oleh sebab itu penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisisbagaimana representasi maskulinitas sebagai atribut budaya populer pada iklan VT x BTS“Time to Shineâ€. Penelitian ini termasuk dalam penelitian kualitatif dengan pencarian datadari studi literatur dan studi lapangan melalui dokumentasi. Kemudian data yang sudahdiperoleh dianalisis dengan menggunakan teori semiotika Roland Barthes.
